However, New Hampshire high schools report an alarming trend: only 12% of students consider pursuing a STEM-related degree, largely due to a lack of awareness and exposure to available career opportunities.

Students in smaller districts, particularly in rural areas, face greater barriers due to fewer local resources and opportunities to engage with professionals in the STEM fields.
